Hey all,

Starting the new year I was looking into what I’d do with the blog, because, as you may have noticed, there was not much activity on it in 2024.

Well at least not in view of new blog posts, as the last one dates from January 2024.

From a web traffic side of things, I notice that the blog still regularly gets consulted. Some articles may be a bit out dated in view of OS or Jamf Pro (/ Connect) version updates and product changes, but a good set still has quite some relevant information out there.

Hence I think it would not be fair to the community to just do a hard cut by closing it down.

However, in view of personal reasons and my recent role change, I have a lot less time to continue geeking through the night to test and configure things or blog about it.

I’m still exploring different options for the continuation of the blog, such as finding someone who would want to take it over, make it a team effort with multiple people while continuing to host it myself, etc.

Or by last resort, when traffic and site consultation drops and articles become obsolete in view of being too outdated, close the website after all.

If anyone has any suggestion, feel free to reach out to me one way or the other.

That said however, I think this brings an end to the “TTG” period. It has been a immense pleasure to navigate the realms of what we all do within the “Mac Admin” space, I’ve learned a lot by doing so and especially the work related to FileVault was one of the highlights I think.

I’ll keep you all posted on what the future of the blog will look like, or if at any point in time it will go into the cyberspace graveyard.

Thanks for all the support over the last 6 years!

That’s it for now,

TTG out
